With a diverse background in executive leadership, M&A, R&D, engineering, supply chain, product development, and operations, Ben has a comprehensive understanding of organizational challenges. He has held key positions in leading companies across the globe, including electronics manufacturers, energy firms, and startups.
Ben’s educational background includes electrical engineering from Purdue University. He is also a certified Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt and APICS-CPIM professional.
In his free time, Ben enjoys motorcycle riding, coaching and umpiring softball, and working on various projects with his daughters. His motto is “Let up for a second and that is where you will finish.”
Gene is a seasoned engineering professional with over 50 years of expertise in providing complete turnkey solutions to a full spectrum of projects, ranging from automotive to industrial to medical to telecomm. He is a goal-oriented, open-minded, results driven engineer with a lifetime of operating under pressure in the rapid development engineering environment.
While Gene is “retired” from the hustle, he now engages in technology research and innovation discovery alongside enjoying time with his wife of 52 years, two daughters, and three granddaughters. Gene is also an AMA record holder on the Bonneville Salt Flats!
Georgian Simion is a result driven executive with 30 years of experience in manufacturing, production and engineering leadership, process flow design and improvement, lean manufacturing, 6 sigma, quality control, supply chain, new product introduction, change management, succession plans and personality assessments.
His global career was dedicated to companies that provided critical electronic assemblies for DoD programs across air, land, sea and space as well as industrial and medical equipment.
In addition to the bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Transilvania University in Romania – Europe, Georgian is a Black Belt Lean/6 Sigma Team leader with hundreds of hours of training in operations, engineering and technology leadership, process design and improvement, people development and succession plans.
Georgian enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, traveling, fishing and working on his photography skills.
With a decade of service as a firefighter and over seven years of expertise in the battery testing industry, Rodney brings a unique combination of practical experience and technical know-how, alongside direct in the field application and response, to the rapidly evolving energy sector.
He has supported projects in Small-scale cell manufacturing, Abusive testing (planning, execution, and reporting), Reverse engineering, Training first responders on managing battery events. Rodney enjoys solving complex challenges, whether it’s collaborating with clients to determine actionable next steps or implementing process methods to handle battery devices.
As an educator, he’s passionate about equipping others with the tools and knowledge to navigate the intersection of battery technology and safety.
